Spent an incredible day with Haley and Quaanan at the Barn on Jackson in Chehalis, Washington. In typical PNW style, the rain came and went, but luckily we caught a few windows of time where we were able to get outside and take some photos of the couple together. Looking forward to summertime, warmth and weddings. I shoot weddings in both Boise and Portland, and here’s a few of my favorite images from shoots in Boise. After shooting full time for so many years in Portland, where the light tends to have a green tint (from all of the beautiful trees and greenery), the desert light in boise is light, airy and refreshing and if I had to choose, I’d choose desert light 95% of the time. Don’t get me wrong, I love moodiness and crying in the rain, but…..also…
I thoroughly and sincerely enjoyed these two, and instantly at that. There's certain people that you just instantly feel comfortable around, and that was for sure Olivia and Alex. It was such a special and beautiful day, full of love and meaning, I was never lacking something beautiful or meaningful to photograph. I love the range of emotion in these photos, and how much fun their reception was.
