"For better AND for worse". As a photographed Molly and John's ceremony, I heard this and thought to myself "Wait is that usually what they say? No, right?". I quickly thought to myself what a beautiful and true statement this is, while continuing to click the shutter button.
This small wording change, fits Molly and John and their wedding so well. I met them for the first time on their wedding day, but I instantly liked them, and could tell that they are such loving people and people that what you see is what you get. Their wedding day unfolded as a beautiful representation of their community, I could write pages about it, but I won't, but I've photographed over 300 weddings in the last ten years, and this one truly stood out.
If all the meaningfulness wasn't enough, with the darkness came a full on onesie dance party, accompanied by silent disco and a gorgeous light show. I left in the middle of the night, but I texted with John the next day and the dance party went all the way until the sun came up. Hands down one of the most fun weddings I've ever shot.
