Portland Photographer | Mini Session Date Added

I’m going to be spending two days shooting mini sessions in Portland, September 14th and 15th. I just added in September 15th as a date, due to several people requesting it. The mini sessions will be at The Hoyt Arboretum a beautiful and convenient location for family photoshoots that gives lots of location variation within a very short distance.

Mini Sessions are great for family photos, engagement photos, photos of you and your homies, photos of your products. The shoots are quick and dirty (but not actually dirty), and mini sessions give a wonderful photo experience, without the pain of longer photoshoots. Especially for families, these shoots work so well, deliver way more family photos than you need, and take less time than a soap opera (how long are those again).

Boise Photographer | The A Family

This was my second shoot with the A family, I loved wandering around the Hulls Gulch area in Boise, we ended up in a beautiful little meadow and the light was gorgeous. It was extra special that their full extended family was in town on the day of this shoot, so we were able to photos with three generations. I’ll let the photos do the talking, but it was a fun mini session, and we were able to accomplish so much in the quick twenty minutes.

Thanks so much for hiring me to take your family photos again A family, so wonderful being together with you all.

Canon 5D Mark III | For Sale

Alright, I’m selling one of my . two beloved Canon 5D Mk III’s. These cameras are absolute beasts, and have served me so incredibly well, the only reason I’m selling one of them is because I’m doing more and more video work and I needed a camera with incredible autofocus for video (see my EOS R unboxing here).

If you know me, you know I take incredible care of my equipment,. neither camera has ever been dropped or handled roughly, I’ve kept both sensors clean, and the cameras are always, always stored in cases. I also use rain gear if I ever shoot in rain, and even though I know these cameras are “water resistant” I just can’t ever risk it, I rely too heavily on my equipment to break it due to it getting wet.

One of the cameras is my main camera body, it has some brassing (where the metal in the camera body shows, this is just from it being held a lot), has been used a lot, but taken very good care of and functions perfectly in every way.

The majority of the photos you see on this site were taken on my main camera body.

The second camera I have is my backup camera and has really only been used a handful of times and is in almost new condition. If you’re interested, email me at bryan@bryanrupp.com, or shoot me a DM on Instagram or Facebook.

Here’s some photos of both cameras:
