Makenzie and James made me smile all day long, they were hilarious from the moment we started shooting, until they ran through the line of sparklers and climbed into the sprinter van that took them to their hotel. Their wedding was at the Gerding Theater this last weekend, and this is just a small preview, there's many many more to come.
A note about the black and white image. James told me he likes really urban shots, shot on street corners with cars and people in the background, so we did just that outside of the theater, and I love this shot where the people are noticing us shooting and trying to get out of the way, with James and Makenzie in the background. Definitely not a "perfect shot" or one that everyone would include in a preview blog post, but I love the "real life-ness" of it.
