I met Matt at Jewel and Mitch's wedding this summer. I was so excited when his mom asked me to take his senior photos because he's such a cool, humble guy. A lot of guys aren't excited about having their senior photos taken and they tend to show that during the shoot. Matt didn't do this at all, he was open and even excited about the ideas I came up with, and he brought some of his own ideas that were fantastic (he wanted a shot with the woodpile, Yeya!). I'm excited that we've got seniors in high school that are as mature as Matt and that will be going out into the world.
Matt, thanks so much for letting me take your senior photos and for spending the afternoon with me!
Happy Tuesday everyone!

Nicole & Ron
Nicole and Ron's wedding was incredible. We started out in Rockaway Beach at a beautiful old church right on the coast. The skies were blue, and the perfect different combination's of seagulls were sitting on the lightpost (see photos below!). We drove to Cannon Beach for the reception at the SurfSand Resort, stopping along the way for some great photo ops. After I spend a wedding day with a couple, I really feel like I know them quite well. I get to spend time alone with the couple as well as watching them interact with all of their friends and family. I love this about my job and consider it something really special. At the end of the day, I knew that Nicole and Ron were really loving, caring people, and that they're fantastic together, they make a great team.
I shot alongside Scott and Amanda of Ambient Sky Studios. I've worked with Scott and Amanda before they are a great husband and wife videography team (I guess the theme of this blog post is teams?), click here for a link to video footage from the day.

Nicole and Ron, thank you so so much for having us capture your wedding day! We had such a wonderful time and were honored to be there.
Happy Thursday! Western Oregonians, get outside and enjoy that sunshine, that's where I'm headed!
