Marcus and Kennedy are one of the many couples whose wedding was completely interrupted by Covid. To be exact, their venue contacted them one week before their wedding in Texas to tell them that they wouldn’t be able to have their wedding due to Covid. Fast forward one year, to May 2021 and they flew to the Willamette Valley in Oregon to have an intimate and beautiful ceremony out in Oregon’s wine country at Native Flora.

If you go through these photos, at the very end of the ceremony, you’re going to see Marcus and Kennedy laughing hysterically, and that’s because THE MOMENT they were married (I mean THE MOMENT), the wind came up and blew over the flower vases on each side of them, shattering the glass and spilling water, flowers and broken glass everywhere.

One thing I enjoyed about this wedding was being able to connect Marcus and Kennedy with such great people in the Willamette Valley. They were looking for a unique experience and I knew that Red Hills Kitchen , Red Hills Market, and the Atticus Hotel in McMinnville would be able to deliver this. They ended up with a private catered dinner in the Atticus Hotel, it was so beautiful and fun.
