A few weeks before Mykeah and Troy's wedding in the Boise Foothills, we hiked up into the foothills to scout their ceremony location, and it was super hot. We made a bunch of comments about how hot it would be for their wedding. Fast forward a few weeks, and you'd find us standing in the foothills, absolutely freezing cold, dramatic clouds overhead, rain occasionally sprinkling on us, the opposite of what we had anticipated.

This was a really special wedding to me, Troy is a friend of mine from over ten years ago, so when I got an email from Mykeah saying that she was Troy's fiance, I got excited about seeing an old friend and meeting his partner, and I was doubly stoked when they chose me to photograph their wedding. Weddings are very intimate, especially when your photographer is only one of five people present for the ceremony, so it was an honor and really special for me, with my friendship to Troy, to be standing there, witnessing these two committing to one another. Love is something to behold.
