Boise Engagement Photos | Whitni +Nic

Gah, these two make me giggle, and even more than that, they just make me happy to be around them. You can see what a beautiful connection they have in these pictures, and if you feel it in real life, it’s such a sincere and deep connection. I was really inspired by it. I’ll let the photos do the talking since I’m no wordsmith, but we wandered around Hulls’ Gulch (Lower Hulls is one of my favorite trails to mountain bike, fyi) on a perfect summer evening, and here’s what happened…

Wilsonville Oregon Wedding | Laurie + Wes

Laurie and Wes got married at their home, a little piece of land in Wilsonville, filled with beautiful trees and the long golden grass of late summer. I loved hearing Laurie and Wes’ story, and these photos are extra special because they’ll soon have to move away from this sweet little piece of land, so I’m glad that there’s photos of them on it and some of the special places they enjoy with their family.

Mt Tabor Photos | Teresa + Steve

Lots of years ago I took photos of Teresa and her dog Ruby. It was such a fun and inspiring shoot, and Teresa happened to be one of the rare people who took me up on the opportunity to shoot at sunrise, the light was still some of my very favorite hundreds of shoots later. I was excited to see Teresa show up on my calendar for one of my mini sessions, and doubly excited that she was bringing along Steve and their cats. I have done A LOT of photoshoots, and this is my first ever one with cats. I had so much fun framing the cats and observing them at Mt Tabor and they, and Teresa and Steve did so amazingly well.
