Amanda and Sol are two really lovely people. They're basically my neighbors (at least there's potential that I could hit their house with a water balloon launcher from my back yard) and our lives overlap in a lot of ways so I've gotten to know them pretty well and they're amazing people that I'm thankful to call friends. It's really special for me to shoot the weddings of people that I know, it helps remind my why I do what I do. Seeing people that I know in photos reminds me how beautiful relationships and moments are and how meaningful it is to have photos of them.
Amanda and Sol had their wedding at Maysara Winery on a gorgeous September day. This was my first time at Maysara, but it is an amazing winery, they have a new-ish building that is a.) massive b.) impressive and c.) massively impressive. (A + B = C is always true).
This was such a joyful day that I was honored to be a part of.

Bekah and Matthew had a gorgeous wedding at Champoeg State Park. I've shot at Champoeg quite a bit and I've always thought it would be amazing to have a ceremony in one of the giant fields there, welp, Bekah and Matthew did it, and it was indeed amazing. The sky threatened to rain and there were times when I was so sure it was going to, but it never did, and it was a really beautiful day that I was thankful to spend with Bekah and Matthew and their friends and family.
