Ceara

For Ceara's senior session, we headed to Cooper Mountain Nature Reserve a gorgeous area right outside of Beaverton. We got a perfect Oregon fall day and I had a great time hanging out with Ceara. A couple of stories from this session: When I had Ceara sit on the log, right after she stood up, a giant snake slithered out from under the logs bark! Even after this Ceara was still adventurous and willing to tromp around for the remainder of the session (thanks Ceara!). We walked a loop at the nature reserve that I thought was a lot shorter than it actually was (woops!), but Ceara and her mom were both so kind and enjoyed the hike with me (thanks guys!).

Ceara, thanks so much for having me take your senior photos! I had so much fun at your session and thanks for being so adventurous! I hope everyone is having a wonderful start to their Tuesday!

Jamie & James

I was really excited for Jamie and James' wedding, I knew it was going to be awesome. The both live on the east coast, so I met up with them a few days before their wedding. They were both so laid back and kind that I knew their wedding day would be great, as it most definitely was. They had their wedding at the West End Theater in southwest Portland. I loved watching Jamie and James' on their wedding day. They did an awesome job of spending time with all of their guests, while also taking the time for some beautiful moments between the two of them. In those moments I saw the intimate joy that they share with one another and had a great time capturing it.

Jamie and James, thank you so much for hiring us to shoot your wedding. We had such a wonderful time spending the day with you two and wish you all the best back on the east coast.

Happy Friday everyone! Leah and I are headed out of town to spend time with family and take Wellington to visit his Grandparents. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Iris & Troy

Iris and Troy are awesome, there's no question about it. For one, they are incredibly, let me say that again, incredibly, hilarious. Every time I'm around them I pretty much end up laughing the whole time (I'm glad no one is taking pictures of me during that time, otherwise my double chin would surely be making an appearance). For two, they just have so much fun together. While I was taking pictures of the guys getting ready, Troy decided to wear his favorite socks, the ones with red lightning bolts on them, he knew Iris would just think it was hilarious. Troy and Iris certainly made the most of their wedding day and I could tell what a wonderful time they had, both with one another and with all of their friends and family.

Iris and Troy, thank you so so much for hiring me to shoot your wedding. Hannah and I had such a wonderful time with you both.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Saturday! I've got my first Saturday off in a long time, so I'm so excited to spend it with my wonderful family!
